Volunteers

Anyone who has spent 5 minutes around RAGBRAI, knows it could not come to our community without your support.  We need volunteers!  Please complete the information below to let us know of your willingness to help.

Here are some specific needs:

• Information Center: need 6-11 volunteers over 3 shifts; 8-10AM, 10AM-3PM, 3PM-8PM

• Non-Food Vendors: need 25 volunteers

• Ride Right committee:  need help of  about 6 volunteers to assist with putting up "Ride Right" signage from Harlan to Kimballton - and also to help take down the signs.

• Showers and Sanitation:  need 126 shifts covered at 4 locations.  Volunteers would be handing out and collecting towels, directing folks to open showers, collecting money, etc.

  • Fairgrounds - need 5 people on duty at a time to work each 2 hour shift (you are welcome to sign up for back-to-back shifts and work longer time periods) from 8:00 am Sunday to 11:00 am Monday.

  • Swimming Pool - need 3 people on duty at a time to work each 2 hour shift (you are welcome to sign up for back-to-back shifts and work longer time periods) from 8:00 am Sunday to 11:00 am Monday.

  • High School - need 4 people on duty at a time to work each 2 hour shift (you are welcome to sign up for back-to-back shifts and work longer time periods) from 8:00 am Sunday to 11:00 am Monday.

  • Vet's Building - need 2 people on duty at a time to work each 2 hour shift (you are welcome to sign up for back-to-back shifts and work longer time periods) from 8:00 am Sunday to 11:00 am Monday.

• Shuttle Service:  need 42 volunteers.  You can sign up for 2 hr. shifts from 9AM-11PM;  will need 2 hosts/hostesses per shuttle per shift;  up to 11 shuttles running at peak times
